PharmaDoc ClientPublisher is a client tool that speeds up the creation of clinical reports (IBs), CSRs, and PMDA-compliant documents.On-the-fly editing of table of contents and chart bookmarks before report output. It also supports batch output of large numbers of PDF files, providing flexibility in operation, and is equipped with error notifications and progress status displays. This enables both document quality and productivity.

Listing with preview function

Table of contents and bookmarks to be created can be listed with the preview function.

Editing in preview state

While in preview, you can edit the table of contents text, text attributes, bookmark text, and hierarchy.

Fast table of contents page creation

Table of Contents page creation can speed up report publishing to create a PDF table of contents directly, instead of using Word's table of contents function.

Perform report publishing in the order of file configuration

Simply specify an Excel file with the file configuration exported from Documentum and report publishing will be performed in the order of the file configuration.

What is this product?

This is a local application version of PharmaDoc Publisher, a server application for binding multiple PDFs into a single PDF by adding headers/footers, table of contents pages, and other formatting features. I was involved in the detailed design and overall development of the initial version.

What did you focus on, what did you work particularly hard on, and what do you consider important in the development process?

Because it was designed to use Acrobat's functions internally, we had a hard time designing it to be compatible with Acrobat's own operations.In addition, since we were dealing with large PDF files, we reviewed the logic many times to ensure that the memory used during operation would not be insufficient.

What would you like to see happen to this product in the future?

In fact, there are not many solutions that allow the granting of header footers and table of contents pages in an integrated and secure manner.In some cases, merging fails and the page becomes completely uneditable.
We hope that this product will make the PDF binding process easier.
I hope that this product will continue to be improved for a long time to come as a solution that can be easily introduced to a small number of departments to perform bookbinding work.

If you want to use a workspace created with PharmaDoc ClientPublisher Ver. 1.2.1 or earlier with Ver. 2.0.0, you need to upgrade the workspace.If you upgrade your workspace, the workspace will not be able to be loaded in Ver. 1.2.1. Please make backups as necessary.
